About Our Beginners
Boxing Course

Our Beginners Boxing Course is the perfect start if you've never boxed before, are feeling unfit, or have very little experience.

Over 8 classes, your coach will take you step by step through the fundamentals, in a small group with others who are in the exact same place as you.

You will learn how to wrap your hands, your stance and basic footwork, as well as the main 6 punches that all boxers must master.  At the same time, whatever your fitness level, you will be guided to your next level with our tailored boxing drills.

At the end of this course, you will be in possession of a brand new set of skills, increased confidence and improved fitness. Fully equipped to move to the next phase of your boxing and fitness journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be fit before coming?

Absolutely not. So long as you are in good health, we will get you Fighter-Fit in no time. If you are already fit, we will take your fitness and your skill-sets to new heights, but no matter what your fitness level, come expecting to be challenged.

What do I need to bring/wear?

Just your normal training gear is fine. You will also need hand wraps and boxing gloves. If you don't have these already, wraps can be purchased at the gym. Gloves can also be rented for a small fee or purchased. Wraps and gloves are compulsory.

What happens at the end of the Beginners Course?

After you've completed the beginners course, we will invite you to become a FighterFit member, where we will continue supporting you through your boxing and fitness journey and continue to build on everything you have achieved in this foundational course.

 

Do I have to do the course before attending a class?

Not at all. We will show you the ropes. Ideally, we would recommend doing the Beginners Boxing Course as it offers a comprehensive step by step guide to getting started, however, you are more than welcome to jump in the deeper end and join a FighterFit class. Our coaches will happily assist you through your session.

What if I have boxing experience and just want to try a class?

That is absolutely fine. Just book yourself a taster class and jump right in. The coach will take care of you whatever level you are at..
